The appointment
How the scalp analysis works
An appointment with a YELASAI hair growth specialist has four steps and usually takes 45 to 60 minutes. Come with unwashed hair or hair washed the day before and without styling products, so your scalp shows its everyday condition.
1. Conversation 10 to 15 minutes
Since when have you noticed the change, what have you tried so far, how do you care for your hair today? Plus questions about daily life, diet, sleep and stress. The conversation gives the images their context.
2. Images 10 minutes
First an overview photo with a phone for the contours and the overall hair quality. Then about 23 micro-camera images in defined regions of the head: 50x for the distribution of the hair and the scalp, 200x for the hair roots and follicle openings, UV light for sebum and deposits. The camera is only placed lightly on the scalp; nothing is marked, shaved or removed.
3. Review on screen 15 to 20 minutes
You see your images right away and learn what they show: how the hairs emerge from the scalp, how strong they are, whether the follicle openings are clear, how the sebum is distributed. The evaluation is AI-assisted and put into context by your specialist.
4. Care plan 10 minutes
The conversation and the images result in a care plan for home: which care, in which order, how often, and when the next look makes sense. It is a recommendation, with no obligation to buy.
Region, not spot. The scalp is not marked. Follow-up images are therefore taken in the same region, not on the exact same millimetre.
